Sport Rehabilitation

Sport Rehabilitation

Sport Rehabilitation is a service that aims to help people suffering from pain, injury, or illness involving the musculoskeletal system - the muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones, joints, spine, and nerves. We help people of all ages to maintain their health and fitness, recover from and prevent injury, and reduce pain

The Rehabilitation service is a three step process :

1. Assess The Problem

A full assessment will take place to obtain as much information from you about the injury. Important details such as when the pain started and what aggrevates it are helpful. I will look at your movements, muscle strength and test any injuried structures. The assessment will involve analising your movements.

2. Diagnose The Problem

I focus on trying to find the source of your injury along side treating the current symptoms. By finding the root i can help you correct any biomechaial or training movements that may be leaving you at risk of further injury or flare ups in the future. It will suprise you as to where the root of some problems starts.

3. Address The Problem

My goal is to solve the problem as quickly and as correctly as possible. Many patients see results after the first session, others need a couple of sessions, others need longer, it all depends on the individual. I will advise you on exercises to complete at home and the approximate number of treatments needed.
